Mass in extra dimensions
String theory proposes ten dimensions: time, three observable spatial dimensions, and six additional hidden dimensions that carry mass. Our visible universe exists within the first four dimensions, while the remaining six form unseen layers often described as superimposed heavens. Astronomers have confirmed the existence of dark matter - invisible matter that does not emit light or collide like normal matter, yet provides most of the gravity holding galaxies together. Observations show massive dark matter clusters passing through each other without interaction, revealing its collisionless nature and detectable presence only through gravity.
I swear by those that are invisible, that move, that sweep.
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ ١٥ الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ ١٦
Dark matter is a form of matter that does not interact with electromagnetic force but still has gravitational effects on visible matter. It accounts for approximately 27% of the universe's total mass-energy content, and its existence is inferred from its gravitational effects on observable matter.

We [Allah] will settle your affair, both you of weight (man and jinn)
سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ الثَّقَلَانِ ٣١
Thukl (ثقل) refers to weight or heaviness. In the context of the Quran (55:31), it refers to mankind and jinn — the two weighty, responsible beings upon whom accountability rests.
Dark Matter is revealed through the way it bends light from background galaxies. By measuring the lensing angle, scientists can infer its hidden mass.
[Allah] is the one who created seven superimposed Heavens. You do not see variations in the formations of the Compassionate, so redirect your sight, do you see any creation? Then redirect your sight again, your vision returns to you in defeat and regret.
الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا مَا تَرَىٰ فِي خَلْقِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ مِنْ تَفَاوُتٍ فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِنْ فُطُورٍ ٣ ثُمَّ ارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنْقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ الْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ ٤
Futtur (فُطور) means rifts, cracks, or flaws. The verse challenges the observer to look again and again at the sky — and find no imperfection in the creation of the Compassionate.
How could an illiterate man 1400 years ago have known about the existence of a multiverse?
No physicist today believes that we are living in the three-dimensional universe of the Christian Bible where not even time is a dimension!
